where is the humanity?

Saw a doctor today and got 2 days MC..thanks to past 2 hectic week.had a bad cough and flu that had me shaking thru' out the nights..finally I can sleep well. My so call "mentor" call me and ask why I didn't tell her I got a MC ..since she had to find a replacemnet in a short time. I admitted it was my fault for not telling her soon enough..but what make me mad is she says" do you think your cough and flu is enough to stop you coming...can die meh?"

I felt a pang of disgust and anger rising up my head...but I told her calmly that its the doc who gives me the mc ..even though I requested a mc for today( I really need it...don't wanna pass the germs to my colleagues and too weak to work)..it is still up to the doc's discretion whether I deserve it or not...somemore doc gives me 2 days MC instead of one...its means something abt my illness. Anyone who had some health knowledge will know that a slight flu unattended can kill!! same goes to cough....esp the recent SARS issue.

Anyway I don't feel guilty at all for seing a doctor..its my health..I don't sell my soul to the company..whether she believes or not , its not my concern..she can jolly well complain to the higher levels...I don't give a shit!!

I feel like quiting

...feeling like quiting my current..its exactly the opp. of what it seems...ppl are leaving on the first week! They just can't stand the hectic and inhumane tasks ..same for me..don't know how long can I hold on to..1 month, 3 month? if not for the bond ...I would have left on the 3rd day...

its fucking long hours...and the company is in heavy shortage of manpower..they are stretching us by the limit! ...thye say its cut cost..but we are just human..not machine..no one can stand 11hrs of work and standing ...

my ex-colleague says his company will be hiring contract position soon for 6 to 12 months..can offer me my previous pay(def. much higher than my current pathetic pay!) or even higher..2.7K. ...should I ?

Decision making [ Who would you save?]

saw an interesting email..mind tingling..

The story given below is quite interesting and really gives us an insight into DECISION MAKING.

Which one will you choose?

A group of children were playing near two railway tracks, one still in use while the other disused. Only one child played on the disused track, the rest on the operational track. The train came, and you were just beside the track interchange. You could make the train change its course to the disused track and saved most of the kids.

However, that would also mean the lone child playing by the disused track would be sacrificed.

Or would you rather let the train go its way?

Let's take a pause to think what kind of decision we could make.

Most people might choose to divert the course of the train, and sacrifice only one child. You might think the same way, I guess.

Exactly, I thought the same way initially because to save most of the children at the expense of only one child was rational decision most people would make, morally and emotionally.

But, have you ever thought that the child choosing to play on the disused track had in fact made the right decision to play at a safe place?

Nevertheless, he had to be sacrificed because of his ignorant friends who chose to play where the danger was.

This kind of dilemma happens around us everyday. In the office, community, in politics and especially in a democratic society, the minority is often sacrificed for the interest of the majority, no matter how foolish or ignorant the majority are, and how farsighted and knowledgeable the minority are.

The child who chose not to play with the rest on the operational track was sidelined. And in the case he was sacrificed, no one would shed a tear for him, because he plays on the track.

The friend who forwarded me the story said he would not try to change the course of the train because he believed that the kids playing on the operational track should have known very well that track was still in use, and that they should have run away if they heard the train's sirens.

If the train was diverted, that lone child would definitely die because he never thought the train could come over to that track!

Moreover, that track was not in use probably because it was not safe.

If the train was diverted to the track, we could put the lives of all passengers on board at stake! And in your attempt to save a few kids by sacrificing one child, you might end up sacrificing hundreds of people to save these few kids.

While we are all aware that life is full of tough decisions that need to be made, we may not realize that hasty decisions may not always be the right one.

"Remember that what's right isn't always popular" and
"What's popular isn't always right."

Hope you make the right decision in your entire life.

80 floors....

There were once 2 brothers who lived on the 80th level. On coming home one day, they realized to their dismay that the lifts were not working and that they had to climb the stairs home After struggling to the 20th level, panting and tired, they decided to abandon their bags and come back for them. They left their bags there and climbed on. When they struggled to the 40th level the younger brother started to grumble and both of them began to quarrel.

They continued to climb the flights of steps, quarrelling all the way to the 60th floor They then realized that they had only 20 levels more to climb and decided to stop quarrelling and continue climbing in peace. They silently climbed on and reached their home at long last. Each stood calmly before the door and waited for the other to open the door. And they realized that the key was in their bags which were left on the 20th floor ...... [not meant to be a joke at all...if you find yourself laughing at it, it's about time u start thinking about what you want life.]

This story is a reflection on our lives... many of us live for the expectations of our parents, teachers and friends when we were young. We seldom get to do the things that we really like or love. It is under so much pressure and stress that by our early 20s, we get tired and decide to dump this load.... and enjoy life. Being free of the stress and pressure, we work enthusiastically and dream ambitious dreams. But by the time we reach our 40s, we start to lose our vision and along with that, our dreams and goal in life. We began to feel unsatisfied and start to complain and criticize. We live life in misery as we are never satisfied.

Reaching 60, we realize that we have little time left for complaining and we began to walk the final episode in peace and calmness. We think that there is nothing left that could disappoint us, only to realize that we cannot rest in peace because we have an unfulfilled dr eam.....a dream we abandoned about 60 plus years ago. So what is your dream? ......Keep them alive... Follow your dreams so that you will not live with regrets ......and you will have stories to share with your loved ones.

Meaningful?

I feel that I am getting more and more of a philosopher as the days goes...I think I might have reach another state of mind...certainly not nirvana yet. Its the age i guess....

what's the hoo har...??

Went to the gym for workout today..the first after 4 months of absence..nothing have change much in california gym..only a few new trainers and same gays..had jog on the runmill for 27 mins and then went out to jog around orchard road..on the way back to gym..I saw a commotion at teh traffic junction opp. heeren.. there were 2 guys who are quarrelling, one of them had his bag thrown on the floor..one wearing blue shirt , the other wearing yellow. I shall call them blue and yellow..

Ites seems that blue had knocked into yellow at the traffic junction, blue says sorry but apparently yellow , who looked like was in a foul mood ( had a look like he lost money in gambling, bin chao choa!), said blue crossed his path purposely..blue explained he did not..blue getting angry too..yellow push him, blue push him back..yellow unbuttoned his shirt ..ready to fight...at this moment onlookers gather around.oh man..ppl were anticipating a fight! they were slowly forming a circle around the 2...swear words flys bet. them..they were both reaching boiling point...all of a sudden..a siren was heard..beeborrr..beeborrr..a police patrol car came driving by...wah liao...what a downer!!

Just as we are expecting a free show in this boring late afternoon, the police appears ..blue pick up his bag and left hurriedly b4 the police had a chance to talk to him..yellow still stood by and kena questioned by officer..onlookers dispersed with a 'can't help it look", a few left with disgust. who's the idiot who call the police??..

you see... that's the typical behaviour of singaporean..when there's a fight going on...they won't run away..they will form a circle and watch the free show..hardly anyone will come out to stop the trouble..of course there will be one or 2 so call "model citizen" who will call for help. where is the excitment? where is the adventure?? it's so F**king boring in this country... everything is so peaceful..its work, sleep, shit and eat....where is the "controlled" bloodshed? we should learn from hong kong..even though they had more fights going on , its pretty under control, the police and the secret society can see eye to eye..they need each other for wealth.

well..its just me and my grudgings again:)

my own customised recipe...

for those who want to learn how to make a great tiramisu..guys who want to impress your potential gal or girlfriend here's my version..after countless failures ..

Mine can serve 6 proportions

- 8 tablespoons rum
- 4 tablespoons brandy (I've tried volka, gin , red wine, tiger beer, carlsberg..etc but brandy still the best.. )
- tablespoons strong black coffee ...personally fav. is mocha powder
- 15-18 mini sponge fingers ...It is a very small biscuit, hardly a mouthful, with as soft a texture as the traditional sponge finger.
- 400g of Mascarpone ...a triple-creme cheese, made from a generally low-fat (25%) content fresh cream. It's made from the milk of cows that have been fed special grasses filled with fresh herbs and flowers..believe it or not!
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoons icing sugar
- 150ml of double cream ...those on diet or health conscious ones could use half cream or whipping cream:)
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- crushed Chocolate Flake ...a few spoonful will do.

All of the above can be brought easily at cold storage or any reputable marts

Directions

1) Mix together half the rum, the brandy and coffee. Arrange the sponge fingers at the bottom of a shallow plate/dish and pour the liquid evenly over them.

2)Mix together the Mascarpone, egg yolks, remaining rum and the icing sugar --> cheese mixture..very important to mix well!!

3)Whip the egg whites and gently mix with the cheese mixture. Spoon over the soaked sponge fingers biscuits and place in the fridge for 2.5 hours before serving.

4)whisk the cream and spread over the end product. Dust with cocoa and sprinkle with the crushed Flake.

5) Ready for serving!!

So you see, no frills in making Tiramisu..but it takes trials to get the right mix and for guys out there..if you do it right, you will blow the minds out of your girlfriends! guarantee they will hunger for more...and you:P

they say...

It takes a minute to have a crush on someone,
An hour to like someone n a day to love someone,
But it takes a LIFETIME to forget someone.....

Men are SO hard to understand and please...or izzit?

Someone mail this to me..I agree on some points about guys ego..do you?

The problems with GUYS:

If u TREAT him nicely, he says u are IN LOVE with him;If u Don't, he says u are PROUD.
If u DRESS Nicely, he says u are trying to LURE him;If u Don't, he says u are from KAMPUNG.
If u ARGUE with him, he says u are STUBBORN; If u keep QUIET, he says u have no BRAINS.
If u are SMARTER than him, he'll lose FACE; If he's Smarter than u, he is GREAT.
If u don't Love him, he tries to POSSESS u; If u Love him, he will try to LEAVE u.(very true huh?)
If u don't make love with him., he says u don't Love him; If u do!! he says u are CHEAP.
If u tell him your PROBLEM, he says u are TROUBLESOME; If u don't, he says that u don't TRUST him.
If u SCOLD him, u are like a NANNY to him; If he SCOLDS u, it is because he CARES for u.
If u BREAK your PROMISE, u Cannot be TRUSTED; If he BREAKS his, he is FORCED to do so.
If u SMOKE, u are a BAD girl;If he SMOKES, he is a GENTLEMAN.
If u do WELL in your exams, he says it's LUCK;If he does WELL, it's BRAINS.
If u HURT him, u are CRUEL; If he HURTS u, u are too SENSITIVE!!& sooo hard to please!!!!!
If u send this to guys, they will swear that it's not true.......but if u don't, they say u are selfish.....

don't feel good..

I don't feel good today..was in a daze even after a washup. I feeling like dozing off but just can't sleep!? I nearly bump into ppl when I was out in jp. can't really walk in a staright line but I wasn't even drinking...Body feels soft and weak, maybe its cos' I am starting my work next week...enjoy too much already so cannot revert back to work mode easily.

feels like dying...

where is my 784533..

had the longest sleep in this month..from 2 am to 11am this morning..guess it's the suntan and beach that gets into me + the rain .watch the movie turn left turn tight yesterday.. visit www.turnleftturnright.com..the soundtrack is great!

The storyline has some true sense in it..sometimes the one we are looking for is someone close to you whom you know but just never had the feelings yet or the time is just not right..sometimes he/she might be just living close to you..you might have met him/her in the lift, bus-stop,parks or even brush shoulders with each other in the supermarket. We just didn't take notice of each other...and when we finally came together, we laugh or even cried at how fate has played with us!

For those lonely singles out there..includes me..I guess we are still waiting for that magical encounter ..be it 3 years, 13 years or even 30 years..she is my 784533..watch the movie and you will know what it means:P

bright sunny dayz..

the weather today was perfect! the sun, the blue sea and the clear sky..I swear it was burning hot out there! It was quite an eventful day for me too:)

Jeff, got his 2 friends with me and spank gal. we reach there around 10am..It was a bit weird out on a beach on a weekend..but I was damn happy when I thought of ppl still working ..we hardly got any chance to beach around..we must be one of those lucky ones. jeff's friends are all teachers and it happens to be the 1 week break.

We saw 2 jap bikini kawaii gals writing on the sands..and jeff , being the more spontaneous one, chat up with them and offer to help them with the words..well japs are not good at english spellings mostly. But I swear that was a buaya move. He 's the man! They were rather cute and we sort of hit well with them... if not for jeff 's friend who kept blowing wolf whistle to them at a distance b4 we approach them..spoils our image man! else the 2 gals would have stay longer...I swore they were out on a tan actually. Anyway yuki and Noimi took some pics with us b4 they went off..darn..should have brought my digital cam along. Too bad they will be leaving tomorrow for tokyo..its their first trip to singapore without any tour guide ...kudos to them for the backpacker spirit!

Met Jeff's ex NIE friend along the beach too..now also a teacher.... Seems that the beach is full of teachers today har...she's quite jude too and look "deadly" with the slinky bikini..can kill ..but too bad married already..haiz..her husband was with her. I begin to wonder why female teachers get attached/married so soon..she told me teachers have no time for dating ..not to say having time for their private life..so its better to get attached b4 you start to teach..I can understand that cos' i was a teacher once..luckily I did not sign the contract:P

We saw a wedding couple taking shots at the beach..really bow to them..can stand the blistering heat in their gowns and black suit...but the couple seems quite happy though but I can't say the same for the photographer who was lugging along the bulky tripod and cam.

Went to stroll the beach with spank gal ..talk about our lives..the changes we should make while still young....we were quite indulge in the peaceful surrounding ..the waves, the sun, and that lonely coconut tree in the distance and for a second , I panicked. What have I acheived at 26 now..no money , no car, no love..and what the f*** am I doing on the beach when others are working their ass off in the office? the devil side of me told me I was being fortunate enough to have free time now..enjoy while you can! Life is short!
You never know if you are gonna be around tomorrow...

We chatted and tan till around 1+ ..I think my skin kena burnt and spank gal was getting spotty too so we decide to leave and drove to holland v for late lunch. Its was a quite a day for me:|

Feeling bloated...

today woke up with bloated stomach..a bit hang over too...must be the bottles of miller and bud I had yesterday..think 5 bottles. Being farting now and then in short burst...spank gal suggest some ginger hot tea to force the wind out, she got she got hung over too. Must cut down on beer..have orange juice instead!..shit need to go to toilet and flush out all the impurities now..ARRRgggg!!!

Part 2 ..WALA WALA

We went for wala wala that night.. I suggested that place as I plan to make a "scene" on stage for the newly wed. A scene it really was and even as the mastermind, I was kena sabo too..

It was actually like a weekly affair and my kakis was there..Degussa, spank gal, Mr P, Ayumi and rock chick..sorry some names not revealed to protect their privac:P..I was already ther by 715pm just to chop some good seats..and the place was quite empty .band starts at 930 but I was told it will be filled out by 8pm..suppose to meet spank gal to shop for her earrings..but she was late and degussa need to dine so I was stoning there with my bottle of budweisser..by the time the newly wed and their friends came..it was already 845..of course it was full house ..but the waitress was kind enough to bring in some more chairs for us..but still me, degussa ahd to stand..i think we around ten ppl..squeezed around a small table.. I told the lead singer..by the way this band was very popular with the wala regulars..the lead singer was a hit! ..told her about the newly wed couple ...just wanna dedicate a song to them..I keep it simple cos' I knew later she will create a scene later:P

She did ...but I was kena sabo too by going on stage ...it was so paiseh..but I had a beer at hand to chill..I was a bit high anyway...and she crack a joke about the mike thing. ask me about why I like to "stroke " the mike..IT WAS TOTALLy INUENDOs...the whole walas was laughing away...but the newly wed was not spared..Pat sang a song for his wife ..it was so sweet that it create a lot of wowing from the ladies!! I am sure some are jealous to the core..hahaa..His wife also kiss him on the spot...that was the finale!! I was happily snapping away with my dig camera:)...I could see the look of happiness on them..but his wife promised to get me for this..oh no!!

We ahd a great night..even after pat they all left..we had great fun snapping away candid shots ..guess we are high har...band was fabulous and teh crowd requested for last song b4 close shop..they just don't wanna leave..wala wala rocks man!! We left around 1am in a state of euphoria..Clearly we are not done with candid shots..Ayumi and spank gal even posed shots with bus stop ad-box..they kiss Johnny Depp on the poster for carribeans..fucking hilarlous..luckily no police cars are around else we would have been spot check for drugs:D We were bitching around in Mr P 's car..on the way home...spank gals was always disturbing him with her new found toy..the bitch dog keychain...hahaha..Ayumi and rock chick was jittering rubbish too. that was the highest moment!!! everyone were HIGH HIGH HIGH!!

I must upload those candid shots soon...the link is coming ..watch out for it! i can't wait for pat tuesday chinese wedding..another scene to make!!

My best friend' s wedding...part 1

It was a big day for my buddy , pat who was having his church wedding yesterday. As his "professional" photographer, its was never a simple task just to take photos..I got his second best man..always reminding him of timings. Pardon me for writing so much but I really got many things to share esp..those who have no first hand experienc of wedding prep..this might serve a some good notes..

I woke up at 530am and pack up my camera sets...took a cab there to bedok from jurong west *still thinking if I should claim taxi fare...hehehe). and reach his house at 7am..very early but better to be safe than mesh up the whole schedule....suppose to reach his bride at 820am to pick her up for the 1st tea ceremony. Howevr, we got to go thru her monies and sisters. Our first plan was for me to infiltrate into the house since I have the perfect excuse I need the best angle for photo takings..hahaha...and the rest will see my hand singnals and "charge in" but it backfired! the monies didn't fell for the trick..DAMN! They requested $999 but after much haggling , we close down to $88..I though that was really a cheapskate..haha.That was not all..after we went in, the bridegroom got to guess which room the bride was hidding..of course as his capable cameraman..I hinted to pat the correct room.Bingo!!

We fetch the bride and proceed to pat 's house for teh tea ceremony. at 840am. After spending 2 rolls of film on that(they got many relatives)..we left at 1030am to teh bride's house for teh 2nd tea ceremony..that was another 2 films spent. I had to buy 3 more to top up...by the time we left , it was around 12pm..The weather was blistering and all of us was sweating like a pig. ..but the worse will be the bestman and bride who was wearing a black suit with tie. I should be thankful that I can dress up lightly..heheh. We left for the church wedding at 1pm to check out the prep, the bride will only need to be there 10mins b4 the ceremony starts...The church decoration was just as I have seen on TV dramas...the aisle was laced with trinkets and pink roses...the same goes for the chairs and altars..simply captivating!sorry I am at lost for vocabs to describe them..2pm was the real thing...the bride steps out from the Merz accomany by her father and when the maindoor opened, everyone would stand up to welcome them ...the rest was dramatic..again I was lost for words. I was snapping away trying my best to capture the greatest moments..the rest was history.

the whole affair ended at 3pm and finally we left for apt house for refreshment. We also watched the video capture of the entire day and laughed at the funny moments..that was not the end , part 2 is coming up at night.

Pirates of the carribean

Just seen the movie today with some of the bloggers and my friends..not a bad movie after all..being a long time since I've seen some good old swashbuckling high-seas action. Johnny depp is at his best for portraying a wily pirate..he got the slang for it at least!its filled with rope-swinging heroes, crusty villains, treasure hoards, swift swordplay, and even wittier wordplay...but sometimes I just couldn't stand their english slang..seems like I am writing a postreview har..

Early bird catches the most worms...

Wah yesterday I broke my sleeping record and turn in at 1030pm..since after my NS days, I've never slept so early...don't know why ..maybe its the reading.I was reading this book call The omnipowerful brand by Frank Delano..lately got an interest in advertising and branding..then I fall asleep with book on my face..think I wake up at 2am to pee ..then rub my left eye ..NOT DIG like rave ...then today wake up with blooody lines streaking across and swollen. Hmmm...did I wash my hand after I pee?...not in a clear state of mind anyway.

Well it was great to wake up early..I could take my time brush my teeth...read newspaper..but still waiting my mum for my breakfast...damn pampered right?...wat to do..too lazy to buy.

Lara Craft

Just chat with my ex-rock climbing mate in ICQ..she is in CAmBOdia ...backpacking alone! WOW..actually she did chio me b4 whether I wanna go with her..but I was tied down with work in MAy:( She is one hot , ranchy babe man..I never expected her to venture out alone in vietnam and cambodia though we went for several oversea climbing trip in Thailand together..but you go gal if you see this, Daph!! She is coming home on the 5th...then have a job waiting with an asset mgt co...gonna work for a few months...try and get a job overseas.. otherwise save enough and go get a working holiday visa for new zealand.

That's what I called a modern cool babe..knows what she wants and at the same time able to rough out and enjoy life!! She wasn't alone in backpacking ,there's people of all ages...from 18 all the way to 76 there. She even commented about the men there are gorgeous!

"you see all these ugly fat caucasions in singapore....and here..cambodia n vietnam...i've seen the best looking caucasions!"

Hahaha..that's quite true from my backpacking experiences during my varsity years...once you are out there, you see all the beautiful ones and HOME is never on your mind! You will start to complain about your nationality, why we don't have this, why our people can't behave like this, etc... I am now planning for my cambodia and vietnam trip next year..hope I can get enough leave and off:P...no more cheonging and wasting money on KTV...maybe just once a blue moon in wala wala for the live band.

Action speaks louder than words...guys and gals who are reading this, I will hold my promise and make it happen! Support me leh..

getting Art fArty...

went to volunteer my help to the necessary stage at marine parade....being given a massive project..i.e. to sort out their huge archive of photos..looking at the photos, I was amazed at the art scenes in singapore. There 's so many performances ..some don't really understand what they are trying to show..no wonder they are known to be Arty FArty. However its really interesting and comforting we had many young budding performers in s'pore. but they sorely lack of manpower and budget therefore they badly need the help of volunteers. ..so here I am!

As volunteers , there's no salary given, but the ppl there are quite nice and open + I have free previews to some of the upcoming productions...not bad har...:)

Wedding blues...

Today I attended my buddy 's ROM..never been to ROM ceremony b4 so kena very excited..at the same time I ask myself when will it be my turn ..not that I am very desperate to get engaged..but I thought it is a very noble and holy process...to my dismay it isn't. I was also the wedding photographer for his wedding too. the time stated was 350pm, but we turn up at 3pm ..you know singaporean is KS wat. Nevermind that, the bride to be will only arrived at 330..totally fine anyway I went with patrick(the bridegroom) for a chillout at the Fat Frog. Talk about the difficulties for him...his was a shotgun thingy..else the whole thing won't be that rush..He almost spent all his savings on church wedding, chinese wedding banquet, and honeymoon to Koh Samui..wah.cool har!..but his wife hardly chip in cos' she doesn't have any savings..wat!!working over a 2 years and not a single savings! Poor pat...

Finally the bride arrives , not really in a glam manner...she wasn't too dressed up ...like wat I visualized ..a simple and elegant white gown ..a bit bo chap during the signing too..just keep saying yes, yes,yes like a zombie..I doubt she was listening wat the official is saying. Maybe its becos..no choice already.." sheng1 mi3 yi3 jing1 zhu3 cheng2 shu2 fan4"... I just can't feel the "love is in the air" atmosphere...after that I went over to his home for a short break b4 his church rehearsal at 730. I had a great talk with pat's mum too. .found out she wasn't raelly pleased with his soon to be wife..the wife is too domineering while pat is too soft and gentle. The relationship wasn't good bet mother and daughter in laws too..if not for the unborn child , she would have told pat to dump her..so sad to hear that:(

At the church rehearsal, we sort of go thru all the motion and procedures..I don't know that's so amny things to remember!! like how should the bridegroom grab hold of the bride from her father, which side the bestman should stand, how should the pageboy and gal walk up the aisle..out of bounds area ,how should you exchange the rings, etc and Jeff, the bestman was busy taking notes on his PDA..by the time we ended, it was almost 9pm.. Jeff and me had dinner with pat 's family ...mainly her mum and sister. They are so warm and nice unlike the bridegroom's family; act "dao" and domineering...don't want to dwell too much abt that.

End of the day, I realise the whole marriage event is not that simple as we seen on most hongkie drama..never jump into marriage unless you are really sure of the love...and always exercise PROTECTIVE MEASURES!! don't anyhow splurt...you will regret it esp for guys..so much for my 2 cents worth of thoughts..

Ah Beng All Wet..

Last night, an incident took place at Boat Quay. What happened was some idiot was trying to show off and declared that he would swim across the Singapore River. He jumped in and started swimming. But before he could reach the halfway mark, he started to panic and started to shout for help.

Being typical Singaporeans, a crowd started to gather to watch and yet no attempt was made by anybody to save that poor chap.

Suddenly there was a splash and the crowd turned to see a guy doing what seemed like a desperate attempt to reach the drowning victim. It was clear that this hero couldn't swim !

Luckily a tongkang filled with tourists was passing by and the operator saw the incident and picked both men from the water. The crowd cheered !

Back on shore, the crowd cheered again as the hero stepped off the tongkang. "Steady Lah !" and "Awright, man !" were among the many congratulations shouted.

The hero looked angry and shouted "Ka ni na! Siang too wa loh chui?" (*%#@! Who pushed me into the water?")
