The real race

Next time anyone who is going for any run..don't believe what the organiser says about reporting time..I reach sentosa at 730am (woke up at 530am and bloody hell its still drizzling) cos according to regulations it SAYS you have to reach 1 hr b4 flag off at 830AM for registration..bullshit there's no registration..they only give us paper clips for number tags and my friend and I ended up snoring at the carpark. Best thing is the 10km race starts at 845, 830 is for fun racers; 3km. wah liao!

Anyway, my stomach wasn't feeling too well from the beer effect yesterday..it was still churning when I was halfway hitting the beach. The beach stretch is a killer! A lot of ppl can't take it and stop or slow down...sands are flying everywhere ..but it was shiok..I stop 2x almost to vomit BEER! I manage to find a pacer who is a gal ...think around my age..we sort of reach a mutual telepathy understanding even though we don't know each other. She was slow but steady so I was either behind her or jsut side by side with her...after the bloody beach stretch, I was in full throttle for the rest of 2km and came in 55min.....totally wipeout and its the first time I came to appreciate the power of air. ...was puffing like a dog.


After the event, many was mass orgying for their belongings in the deposit area...totally chaos and some ppl lost their wallets, hp, ICs..bad planning on the orgainser..Luckily we found our bags soon. Its was already close to noon when we went for lunch. We sign up for the Sheares bridge run on the 14 sep. shit...only 2 more weeks to train for the 21km race. ..but I jsut love the sheer sensation after every race..ITS NOT THE TIMING THAT MATTERS , ITS ABOUT THE PAIN, HUNGER and NEVER SAY DIE ATTITUDE!! It's how we should live our life....isn't it?

got high on beer..

...still a bit high when I wrote this..had 2 beers in wala wala ...I can't hold my liquor well. Was chilling out with p, degussa spank gal and 2 others. the band rocks tonight! the lead singer is a pro..deep sexy voice. She was able to hype up the atmosphere too by asking audience to sing along...kudos to them .. Of course those having birthdays are not spared. they are asked to dance on stage..3 so call cute guys were on stage doing the full monty dance! too bad din't strip else it will drive all the gals crazy!!

Have to get up at 530am for the nike real run tomorrow...shit hope I can wake up in time and don't fall into the drain during the race.

Late night movies with the 3 angels..

Went watching Oh happy days with the 3 angels at GV at 950pm. We met for dinner at the kopitiam around 730..and had more than 1 hr to spare b4 we enter for the show. That's so much changes in Plaza Sing , it resembles like a mini Far East at the basement ..so many kawaii shops with kawaii babes..I was very tempted to buy some casual shoes..but after spending so much on CDs this month..I thought twice..fortunately the friends around me are also controlling their urge to shop else i would have succumb to my urge!!Money not enough man!!We ended up in Olio dome at parkmall. Our friend P had a really funny accident . he was asking a waitress how fast the drinks are served. The cute waitress prob. misunderstood and replied they are closing at 11, last order at 1030. P ask again the same Q and she said " the drinks will be served fast for you" P went flushed with red from ear to ear!! All of us burst into laughter...the waitress also smiled grinned and look a bit paiseh too..muahhaha...

the show wasn't that bad after all, luckily we din't follow Degussa comment..Its crappy but really hilarious. I was laughing till my stomach pain. We should take it with a pinch of salt when we watch this kind of movies since it is certainly not about oscar winning contents. Everyone is just trying to have some fun and laughter...well for those who are into more substance and higher level of "nirvana" ..so sorry loh..you picked the wrong movie:P

After the movie , it was almost 12am .we decided to makan prata at NUS fong seng ...the famous 24hr eatery near to Yusof hall.picked up Degussa as well since along the way too.I think so..correct me if I am wrong. the pineapple cheese prata tasted like heaven and the tehchino was uplifting. Talk about some crappy stuffs ..and I really wish I can return to student's life..looking at teh students around us who are so carefree..I wish I can turn back the clock!!!Work sucks , life sucks...wat to do...was wondering how to retire b4 35...possible???

Tomorrow ..should be going for a haircut..my hair freaking dense like a broom...afternoon will head for a swim cum tan then might dropby holland V to check out some CDs. Moi tell me that a cd shop on the 2nd floor sells relatively cheap house/progressive cds..don't wanna kena chop by HMV anymore!! thinking of chilling out at wala wala after 7 for the live gig..anyone free and thinking of saving money can join me...beer only cost around $10 ..better than throwing money to discos and KTV..haiz...will call up Degussa, Moi, p and Nic along.

Today was pretty boring for me. I went to hmv though and end up spending $43 on a cd by satoshi tomiie. haha but I din't regret since it sounded great on trial. I was practically hooked on sasha for these few days and the thing is ..I never felt bored with the music. Think its becos its so hard to remember every rhythms and there's hardly any lyrics too. My fav is still Xpander. Now i a a single MD with tracks form the 2 DJs..cool har...nextthing is to upgrade to Ipod:P. I finally understand what's the diff bet. global and deep house. thanks the enlightenment from Teri..Now I knew i have been listening to deep house all along too. they are actually groovy chillouts.

But having spend so much on cds this month, its means no cheonging..shit next month when I start work , i cannot cheong anymore. will be watching the new korean movie "Oh happy days!" with P and moi...heard its not bad ..Had a long talk with moi..chat about her work ..no time to enjoy..pressures..no time with family..makes me feel very lucky. At least I get to spend time with my family, have dinner with them....more time for workouts,chillouts. But I know once I start work, all these will be quite impossible. Got to enjoy while I can!

yehhh...just update my blog site...looks much better with a little bit more of myself. got some idea of design from teriyaki 's blog...hope you don't mind:P I am jsut too lazy to hard code. What's left now is adding of comments..but the stupid haloscan website cannot accept sign ups now.

I am so darn tired...had a run just now and feeling as if my body is crumbling.tomorrow shall be my rest day...no programs yet..maybe checking out a few cds and do some self research. Sianz...

Afterthoughts for the swim

Had a great swim this morning at NUS SRC. Even saw a babe tanning with top off beside me. seems like she doesn't care a shit if males are oogling. Times have changed ..I guess. More ppl are investing in tiny little wicked bikinis. Used to see them worn for tanning. Now more & more are swimming with it. Don't they feel dangerous like the top might came off or the bottom is too skimpy ? From this , I feel that ppl are becoming more adventurous not only in their dressing but also their behaviour...Is that a good thing ? well I supppose in singapore .its good..esp when the government is now fiercely encouraging entrepreneurship.. Wait a min..anyone reading this might ask what has bikinis has to do with entrepreneurship. A lot actually.

It only shows ppl are changing their mindset esp young ppl. they don't care how ppl look at them ..as long as they are comfortable and have the asset/talent, just show off! Flaunt what you have ....rather be humble thru' out your life. the babe at the pool might even met a hunk ! Of course , I am rather happy to remain just as an observer:P...heehee I know my limits.

But sometimes, I jst wondered what are the things we can do and cannot do in this freaking country. There 's no clear laws to clarify. Probably, our generation is too used to follow instructions and now with the doors open to entrepreneurship, ppl are lost. Basically as singaporeans , we are not risk takers. we are not taught to be one anyway unlike the Americans. ..kudos to their creative thinkings. We don't want to invest our savings into some business that will burst like a bubble due to some stupid laws and redtape. What to do. Have a job ..and stay there for all your life. No way! I want a business of my own in the near future. Whether its a failure or success, at least I tried to be different. But for now, I can only learn as much.

Bits and pieces of today...

HAh...I beat the rain today and came home only slight drizzled. But my flu did not go away ...the bug woke up just now..I am sniffing and making wet dumplings out of tissues when writing this...typing never seems to be so easy :(

Going for a swim tomorrow and hopefully the bug is killed by my immune system. this time I will swim for 20 laps w/o stopping. Possible? Why not..I had 30 laps b4..but that was 2 years ago ..hehee. Meeting Michelle for lunch after that in arts canteen. Think will shop for a pair of geeky specs in the afternoon..had a design in mind but just hope not too ex.

Listened to sasha a few time...not bad . i think its time for me to upgrade to another level of music appreciation. Bye Bye Retro , hello house!! Bye bye to MW and Newsroom too, I am going for liquidroom and double O:) the zoukout effect hasn't settle in me yet..will be looking out for DJ events in the future. damn Should have gone with my friends to the Powerhouse party !

Weather sucks...

back from Jp after having some crepes..but the sky turns grey out of a sudden. Thunders and lightning flashes across the HDB block. DAmn! Don't care ...as long as I don't see a single drop of rain, I will run. Like what NIKE says : Just Do IT!

I wondered how to insert comments for my blog...something to with haloscan.com..check it out later..Its so boring today, I did nothing much except reading blogs and creating my blog. At least it kills my time..

Feeling satisfied...

I just did some minor changes to my blog site , rename it and changed some colors. Doesn't look really good now but will improve day by day...hope that my blog will last cos I have tried writing diaries, memos but just can't sustain it for a month. But this time , i am serious! I am writing not to impress (my vocab very the limited too...) but just voice out my anger, happiness, thoughts I had everyday.

Feeling better right now with my flu..hopefully I can go for my run later.. a bit hungry now and sore in the eyes after staring at the screen for hours so going to JP for some snacks b4 my run.
