Geylang Rendevous

Happen to be in Geylang for dinner at the famous beef horfan stall with 2 of my friends. Pink lady and S. The horfan was simply marvellous its smooth and the beef was wow! tender and soft ..not those rubbery and takes ages to chew off type..u know wat I mean? But it cost $15 bucks!! just for 3 of us..well...good stuff aren't cheap. ...but I really hate the service..I was damn sure the lady was from china.....not that I have anything against them but she should be trained the proper customer communication skills.

She came to our table and ask if we wanted any drinks ...the dialogue was like this
china gal: " we serve barley, lime, lemonade.....blah blah blah...."
me: " do you serve cold barley?"
china gal: "no...we only serve hot ones...."
me:" then I want a green tea "
china gal: " how about the u? miss?
pink lady:" lime juice , cold one please"

end of dialogue.

2 mins later, she came with the green tea and also a anonymous drink...then she went away to take orders from another table...We are wondering why is there extra drink...its not lime anyway...china gal came back to collect money..

me:"I didn't order this drink leh..."
china gal: "no, you did order, you say barley!" she eye at me
me:" No, I said I want green tea! not this..."
china gal: " No u did!" fingers pointing at me now...like I steal her money
me:" No , I only ask if you serve cold barley? but I did not order it..."
china gal: "no ..no..no..u did ...nevermind ...just give me $ 2.40" still pointing finger at me...

I had the urge to splash the green tea in her face at that moment. Well..good thing is.. she only demand for the green tea and lime juice money not the extra drink. but I just cannot stand teh way she speaks to a customer...I have never seen servers pointing fingers and speaking in a accusing manner with the "like I own her money face" KNNBCCB!! I think she purposely did that ...thinking that with so many ppl looking , I would give in...Hah! she's wrong , army trained one ...you think I idiot izzit...kena threaten will scared? LJ understand!

After that, we went next door for taiwanese desert...the beancurd and "you tiao" was appetizing.
It was only 10 when we finished...nothing much to do...pink lady was commenting she never explored the red lantern area in geylang...where the fish tank is. Immediately, I suggested to being them there...not that I am experienced but my ex-ns camp was so fucking near there..i know the place inside out. Hence with a sense of adventure , we ventured into the red area....well ...Its full of Ah-nehs,china guys and uncles all crowding in the neon light alleys. we can see ppl negotiating for prices with the prostitutes...woman openly pulling man to one corner and selling their services...things we read in the books are right in front of our eyes!

Luckily , we had pink lady around else we would have been approached ...(damn that's also wat I want actually...hahaha) Along the stretch, we can see rows of shops open for business..with queues of ppl looking in..some went out after 1 look.. We knew these are the " fish tanks" ...for those ignorant ones....don't think these shops earn a living by selling fishes..ok! where got so many horny guys queuing up just to see fishes??!! theres actually prostitues sitting inside with only bras and undies...transparent ones ...for these horny bastards to pick and spent a night out wanking... KNS might as well wear nothing but its all about visuals...

We were kena shooed by the boss inside as to them its was inaspicious to bring a lady to their shop. I thought our pink lady was not too bad either in looks...maybe they think those horny ones will pick her up instead of those in the fish tanks ...hahhaa...then me and S would be pimps!!

It was almost 11 after we explored the red area...waht a night ! We had coffee at great world after that and went home....who says singapore is a boring place anyway...haha!
