a bad day...

one of my part timers just quit on me after only 1 day of work! reason given is loss of interest. She gave 1 week notice and inform me thru email...talking about professionalism these days....the younger generation sure had their way..just quit and go without any formal notice. I am not angry at my staff for leaving...just that she is not being frank to me...she gives me the impression that she will stay on..at least call me about it. That leaves me in a tight spot now and I had to find someone else to replace her within this week.

I will draft up a aprt time contract next time ...
